Theory Programs
The crane training school features a strong grounding in theory related to power-line safety, regulations, inspection and site dangers involved in crane operation. Trainees will acquire knowledge of hardware applications, load charts and rigging. Quizzes and direct feedback during the course will help individuals training solidify their understanding.
The theory topics include: Introduction to crane certification process; safety fundamentals for crane operators; rigging knowledge; crane operation knowledge; load chart knowledge; crane rigging charts; communications knowledge; crane set-up & pre-trip inspections, and crane service and maintenance.
Practical Programs
The crane training school features practical training including hands-on learning. This part teaches trainees how to identify crane terminology and components. Trainees would have the chance to practice skills needed for crane operating, signaling and rigging.
The topics included in the practical section includes: Identify crane components and functions; Learn crane terminology; utilize remote control; identify wire ropes and rigging; pre-use check on crane; identify regulations and documents for rigging and wire rope; carry out rigging methods; use hand signals and radio; and carry out proper lowering and lifting of loads.
